TEACHING PRACTICE

 TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1

26/10/2022-11/11/2022

Week 1 (26th October to 29th October)

DAY 1

Day 1 teaching practice as part of the B.Ed programme started on 26th October 2022. We reached the Govt. Girls Higher secondary School, Mavelikara at 8:45am on Wednesday morning and met with the principal and the subject teachers.

The school started by 9 am. I got assigned to commerce +1 classe to teach business studies. I met with bini miss to get my lesson plan signed. I took class for +1 commerce students on  first two period and last period.I completed two lesson plans.The staffs were so friendly. It was a great experience to teach, manage and understand a real class room. We left the school by 4:30 pm.

DAY 2

The 2nd day (27/10/22) started at 9:00 am . I got to take 2classes in total in C1 got the opportunity to engage with the students.  First period i introduce the topic type of services and afternoon first period i introduce the topic banking and its type. I am completed two lesson plan .

DAY 3

On the third day (28/10/22) I got C1 class. My peer observed my class.   I got period first houre and second houre.Iam completed one lesson plan After that we have involved in verification of valuation documents with the press students school teacher.

The second week of the teaching practice as part of the B.Ed curriculum was fast moving Each day started at 9.00am.

On the first day of the week (31/10/22), I took class for +1 commerce last hour. We helped in the school kitchen and also served mid day meal for the students. 

On 1/11/22 we organized a quiz competition for students +1 commerce in regard to Keralapiravi. We participated in the anti drug campaign along with the students and teachers by joining the human chain at pushpa junction and taking the anti drug campaign pledge. 

2/11/22 was a holiday due to Parumalapalli perunnal.

On 3/11/22 my optional teacher Dr ranjini kr miss visited me for observation  during the second hour. After the class teacher  renjini miss told many suggesion to improve my class.We also served noon meal for  the  highschool students.

On Friday and Saturday (4/11/22 & 5/11/22) there were no regular classes due to District Science Fair Competition.we visited the science fair exhibition on Saturday.

This week was quite challenging and gave us great experiences.
